MIFFLINTOWN – Five local athletes have been named to the Tri-Valley League all-stars in softball. Three of those players are from Juniata while two came from East Juniata.
Leading at the top spot is Juniata’s own Regan Lowrey who was just one of two players to be voted unanimously to the first team. The senior finishes her final season with the Indians with a .538 batting average, 21 hits, 22 runs scored and 23 stolen bases.
Meanwhile fellow senior teammates Ava Lauver and Victoria Moore were named to the second team. Moore was among the leaders in the TVL in RBIs with 15.
East Juniata senior Ryley Dressler was the lone Tiger player to be given first team honors.
Junior Maddie Snyder was named to the second team. Snyder had 23 hits and had 37 strikeouts through 44 and two-thirds innings of work in the circle.
Congrats to all of the TVL softball all-stars!
