Three players from three different schools were given the honor of making the TVL baseball all-stars.
The lone first team selection went to Juniata’s Daylyn Kennedy. The junior was among the batting leaders with a batting average of .440, collected 22 hits, scored 20 runs and had 27 stolen bases. Kennedy was also big on the mound too for the Indians and had 36 strikeouts through 34 and two-thirds innings of work.
The East Juniata Tigers also got an All star selection in junior Kelton Bonnell who was named to the second team. Bonnell was the top dog in the TVL in home runs which he had five in TVL play.
Last but not least, the Wolfpack of St. Joe’s also scored a second team selection in the form of Caleb Foytack. The sophomore collected 17 hits at the plate and while on the mound, Foytack pitched in 28 and two-thirds innings, he had 52 strikeouts.
Congrats to all of the TVL baseball all stars!
