Pitching Impressive As Philipsburg-Osceola Lady Mounties Beats Central

Both teams were strong in the circle on Saturday, but the Philipsburg-Osceola Lady Mounties defeated Central 3-0. Alivia Bizzarri started the game for the Lady Mounties and recorded 21 outs.

Philipsburg-Osceola Varsity opened the scoring in the third after Mckenna Thorp scored after tagging up.

Bizzarri earned the win for the Lady Mounties. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Bizzarri and Ashlyn Havens each drove in one run for Philipsburg-Osceola . Morgan Vaughn went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Lady Mounties in hits.

Alexis Fetzer, McKenna Smith, and Sofie Maldonado each collected one hit for Central.

Next up for Philipsburg-Osceola is a game against Bishop Guilfoyle on Monday.
