Bellefonte Varsity could not keep up with Bald Eagle losing 5-0 on Tuesday.

Bald Eagle got on the board in the top of the second inning after Maelee Yoder doubled, scoring two runs, and Taylor Habovick grounded out, scoring one run.

Adrienne Masullo pitched four innings in relief for Bellefonte. The pitcher surrendered six hits and two runs while, striking out three and walking two. Abby Herr started the game for the Lady Raiders. The pitcher allowed two hits and three runs over three innings, striking out five and walking none. Sierra Albright began the game for the Lady Eagles. The starter allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking three.

Taylor Brown and Masullo each collected one hit for Bellefonte. The

Lady Raiders were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Jaylee Lose made the most plays with eight.

Yoder led the Eagles with two runs batted in. The infielder went 3-for-3 on the day. Bald Eagle didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kailey Eckert had the most chances in the field with 12.

The Bellefonte Lady Raiders will travel to Lady Mounties for their next game on Monday.
