Jaylee Lose drove in five runs on two hits to lead Bellefonte past Hollidaysburg 17-2 on Wednesday. Lose hit a home run to center field in the third inning, scoring three runs, and doubled in the fifth inning, scoring two.

The Lady Raiders won thanks in part to 12 runs in the third inning.  an error scored one run, Riley Santostefano doubled, scoring two runs, Peyton Rimmey singled, scoring one run, Sadie Ripka singled, scoring two runs, Alaina  Smith doubled, scoring two runs, Lose homered to center field, scoring three runs, and Adrienne Masullo singled, scoring one run.

Bellefonte Varsity scored five runs on six hits in the top of the fifth inning. Abby Herr singled, scoring one run, Ava Lose singled, scoring one run, Lose doubled, scoring two runs, and Ragan Manning singled, scoring one run.

Masullo started the game for the  Lady Raiders. The starter surrendered three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out five and walking none. Mikaylah Vincent started in the circle for Hollidaysburg . The pitcher surrendered 11 hits and 12 runs (10 earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking six. Herr tossed two innings of no-run ball for Bellefonte Varsity in relief. The reliever gave up one hit, striking out four and walking one.

The Lady Raiders amassed 17 hits in the game. Santostefano went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Bellefonte  in hits. Ripka, Smith, Masullo, and Manning each collected multiple hits for the Lady Raiders. Smith paced Bellefonte with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game.

Lexi Peacock and Maggie Hicks each drove in one run for Hollidaysburg. Vincent went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits.

Next up for Bellefonte is a game at Glendale  on Thursday.
