MC JH volleyball splits match with Millersburg

Mifflin County Jr. High was on the road this evening to take on the Indians from Millersburg.

In the first match, the Huskies were led by Jovie Kauffman who dished out 5 assists with Mackenzie Resto adding two kills. Kyah Bishop was solid on serve receive while Chelsa Anewalt added two digs in the effort. The Huskies ultimately fell to the Indians in two sets with scores of 13-25 and 17-25.

The 8th grade team finished out the matchup defeating the Indians in two sets with scores of 25-11 and 25-15. Lily Curry handed out 13 assists to multiple teammates. Grayce Napikoski led with four kills, while Ayden Long and Jovie Bush added three and two, respectively. Briah Moore had a solid effort on defense to help secure the win.

The Huskies will host Red Land on Monday, April 21st for their last home game of the season. Games are slated to start at 4pm at the High School main gym
