The Huskies started off the 7th grade game with strong serving from Addyson Marks to win the first set 25-10. The Trojans came back to win the second set 18-25 which then forced the third and deciding set. Chambersburg jumped to an early lead and despite a solid effort, the Huskies fell 11-15. Addyson led the team with ten aces and two assists. Grayce Napikoski contributed three kills and teammate Mackenzie Resto added two aces and a kill in the effort.
It was an exciting, back and forth match for the 8th grade game. Both teams battled hard in another three-set match before the Huskies emerged on top at the end. Both the first and second sets of the match went into extra points, with Chambersburg winning the first 27-25 and the Huskies winning the second 30-28. The Huskies continued their momentum into the third set winning 15-7. Lily Curry took the reins for the offense dishing out 6 assists. Grayce led the team with five kills and three digs while Emma Hartzler and Ayden Long added two kills each.
The team is back home again this Wednesday at 4pm.
