The Lady Huskies went up against Red Land Friday and the game would be a thriller in the final stanza.

Despite an impressive showing in the first two stanzas, MIfflin County would come up a little short falling 35-33.

Mifflin County was led by Jayda Kanagy’s 11 and Mackenzie Peachey’s nine.

The Patriots were outscored by the Huskies in the first quarter by a slim 7-6 advantage.

Offensively, the Huskies outscored Red Land in the second quarter as well 12-7.

Going into the half, the Huskies led 19-13.

But the Lady Patriots rallied in third and fourth quarters outscoring MIfflin County 24-14 to capture the comeback win.

In the JV contest, Red Land defeated Mifflin County 40-27.

Leading the offensive effort for MIfflin County was Mya Felmlee with 12.  Teammate Malaina Maxwell finished with eight.
