LEWISTOWN – We are back wrestling fans as Hometown Sports presents to you another exciting interview with local athletes within the Mifflin, Juniata, Centre and Huntingdon counties. Today I got to sit down with HWF’s Andy Hoar who helps the company from behind the curtain. Get to know what makes him passionate about professional wrestling. Hope you all enjoy!

JY: Who inspired you to get into pro wrestling and why?

AH: Bret and Owen Hart, the style of the way they worked and entertained the crowd.

JY: What was your first experience like?

AH: I fell in love with the sport as soon as I saw it on TV the very first time.

JY: What has been your favorite moment in your career so far?

AH: Seeing what myself and Matt Silks have been able to create and grow the wrestling scene in Lewistown to what it has become.

JY: What do you like most about pro wrestling?

AH: The art, the storytelling, the characters.

JY: Any advice for someone looking to get into the wrestling business?

AH: Follow your dreams, be respectful, always listen to advice, you’re only as good as your last match.
