In the first game back from the Christmas break, the Bald Eagle Area boys basketball team was back on the court Friday as they traveled to Philipsburg-Osceola.

Their opponent on this night was West Branch.

It was a tough night for the Eagles as they fell 67-42.

Despite a strong start for West Branch, the Eagles got hot in the second half but could not comeback from the early deficit.

Leading the offense on the evening for Bald Eagle Area was James Cowan with 16.

Teammate Kane Wolf followed up with a 15-point effort.
