The Mifflin County Jr High Boys traveled to State College to take on Park Forest on Thursday afternoon..They walked away splitting wins..
The Husky 7th grade team won their 3rd in a row by a score of 32-27..
Seven different Husky players were in the scoring column, led by Landon Cunningham’s 9. Connor Donovan added eight, including 6-8 from the foul line, and Bronn Zook had a solid game with five pts also hitting some clutch free throws down the stretch.
The Husky 8th graders once again took the game to its final few possessions but came up short to Park Forest by a 31-26 score.. Landon Cunningham again was the leading scorer with eight while Rowan Deamer added seven. The Huskies had plenty of opportunities at the free throw line but could only convert four of 13 at the line..
Both teams will now enjoy an extended break from competitive play until Tuesday January 6th..
