Back on track!
After falling in a close match against Cedar Cliff in their home opener, the Mifflin County wrestling team traveled to Central Dauphin to take on the Rams.
In the end, the Huskies would roll out of CD with a Mifflin County 32.0- 22.0 victory.
Starting at 133, CD’s Luke Hitchcock started things off with a Major Decision win over Jake Knable 13-4.
Mifflin County got on the scoreboard at 139 as Kamden Everly muscled out a 5-2 decision over Aidan Mariano.
At 145, the Huskies’ Brian Albert finished with a win over Isak Patti by decision at 4-0.
Central Dauphin took the 152-pound weight class when Clayton Ferree won in a hard fought battle over Colby Seiler 5-2.
It didn’t take long for the Huskies to get back in the win column at 160 when Brayan Aurand won a nail biting 5-4 decision over Benny Bentz .
Mifflin County’s Reese Christine at 172 dominated Rashaad Pouncy 16-6.
The winning continued at 189 for MIfflin County. Avery Aurand blanked Cole Ramberger by a 15-0 tech fall win at 3:31.
215-pounder, CDs Anthony Neuhard won by fall over Jace Bender at 2:56.
At 285, Peyton Kearns pinned oZach Coleman by a fall at 1:58.
CD took the easy win at 107. Brayden Powell via forfeit.
At 114, Andrew Alexander took a 4-0 shut out decision over Franco Perri.
Despite being down at 121, the Rams Thunder Beard won by decision over Paxton Shawver 11-4.
Rounding out the match at 127, the Huskies Layten Bowersox finished in fine fashion taking a tech fall 18-3 tech fall win over Pierce Lemmons at 3:32.
