The Juniata boys basketball team ended the week on a positive note, defeating Mount Union 50-33 Friday in non-conference action.

Jasper Shepps lit things up finishing with a 16-point effort. Also, finishing in double digits for the Indians was Caden Swailes. Swailes finished with a 13-point effort.

Juniata’s defense kept the Trojans from allowing a double digit scorer on the night.

Mount Union’s leading scorer was Nayim Francis with nine.
