In a tough Wednesday night match up, the Bellefonte boys soccer team and Clearfield found themselves in a late season nail biting contest.
Bellefonte came out the victors on this night, winning 1-0.
“We played a solid game today we dominated the middle of the field and our passing was incredible. It was our Best game for ball movement and controlling the field,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “We struggled putting the ball in the back of the net lot of chances just didn’t want to go in for us. We got the one that mattered. Defense was solid all night. With the win tonight we won our division and will play for the Laurel highland championship Saturday.”
At 32:35, Bellefonte’s Andy Geresanko hit the game’s lone score with the assist coming from Conelle Stabinger.
Bellefonte led in shots on goal by 19-1 margin and 6-1 in corners.
