It was a picture perfect Senior Night for Riley Hine, Gracen Haines, Maggie McMullen, and Gaby Powell, as the Huskies swept Red Land 3-0 in a packed Dawg House (25-23, 25-22, 25-22).

Four year varsity letterman and Captain Riley Hine set the pace with 9 kills, 2 aces, 3 digs, and 2 blocks. Gracen Haines put up a career-high 5 blocks and added 1 kill and 1 ace. Senior Captain Maggie McMullen added 5 kills to seal the deal. Libero Gaby Powell held down the defense in the back row.

As the Huskies congratulate and celebrate their dedicated seniors tonight, the future is bright for Mifflin County Volleyball. Junior DS Amilia Greene held down the defense with 7 digs, sophomore middle blocker Ella Hartzler added 3 kills and 4 blocks, while freshman Leah Hartzler added 4 kills.

Coach Kelly Aston reflects on the night by saying,” As a coach, I could not wish for a better Senior Night for our 4 amazing athletes. They worked hard all season so to win at home, especially in 3 against a competitive team like Red Land, is just what they deserve.”

Led by Jensyn Taylor (3 aces, 5 kills), Kate Hartzler (3 kills), Brooke Wray (3 assists, 1 kill), and Adisyn Lyles (5 assists), JV set the tone with a 2-1 win (25-21, 20-25, 15-10).
