Wednesday afternoon Mifflin County Junior High Cross Country ran against Juniata County at Indian Valley Elementary Center in Reedsville.  On the boys side, Craig Whitenight finished first with a new PR time of 12:39 with Levi Anderson (13:22) and Benny Ishler (13:48) finishing second and fourth, respectively.  The boys continue to improve their tines with each week and have two meets next week to finish out the season.

On the girls side, Carys Morgan finished the race with a new season PR of 18:44 with a decrease of over a minute from her previous PR. Corinne McConahy had a strong run with a time of 17:20.  Both girls will compete next week against Susquenita on Tuesday at IVEC and then Saturday at the Lock Haven University PA Middle School Championship.
