“The girls all ran aggressively tonight and I’m super proud of all of them. They all have improved so much from the beginning of the season. Ella has improved so much from last year and is taking the sport of cross country serious. She has great running mechanics and doesn’t have a clue just how good she can be,” said Juniata Coach Jeff Miller. “Aubrey Fogle has impressed me with her ability to push herself and keep setting new goals. Her grit and determination will take her far in this sport.”
Juniata 7th grader Elliottt Miller led the Indians with a 3rd place finish in the boys 2 mile race with a time of 13:46. 7th grader Luke Weiand placed 5th with a time of 14:48. 8th grader Zeb Ehrisman place 6th with a time of 15:07. 7th grader Andrew Rutherford place 7th with a time of 17:03. “Elliott ran a perfectly paced race to get 3rd for us. He has improved about 2:00 over the 2 mile distance from the beginning of the season,” said Miller. “He’s finding out he has a future in distance running and is getting more confident as time goes on. I thought Luke, Zeb, and Andrew ran very good races and came away from the meet happy with their performances.”
