It was a very good weekend for the Bellefonte cross country program at the Ridgway Invitational. The Red Raiders had some really good performances from their high school and junior high teams.
“Starting with our varsity teams, we had four medals and many others were able to pull off season PR’s and some personal PR’s,” said Bellefonte coach Chad Wiler.
Some runners to give a shout out:
Kaiden Williams ran to a 5th place finish with a time of 17:16!
Maverick Muchmore placed 7th with a 17:25!
Jonathan Gasper placed 13th with a 17:38!
Elijah Davis got a season PR of 19:45!
Kaiden Musser ran strong and Phoenix Torres completed his first race!
Addison Fry placed 5th with a new PR time of 20:21!
Natalie Jolley had another good day running to a 20th place finish!
Emma Burger, Alexis Fravel and Anna Tyson all had season PRs!
“Our junior high teams also showed a lot of strength in some really good competition! We have a very good young team coming up. Proud of you all,” said Wiler.
