It was a tough day at the office for us. We had to split into two camps this week (with a tough racing schedule ahead), and I had hoped we would be able to compete with Altoona today. They were the better team on the day, and I have all the respect in the world for Lee Baranik’s program. They have always been good runners and they will continue to be,” said Mifflin County coach Alex Monroe. “We made tactical errors that are common with a young team. And while I’m glad those hard lessons are being learned now, it’s not something we want to get into the habit of. We have about a month work left and I know they are going to continue to grow as a team.
The Huskies are back in action Friday at Paul Short Invitational.
