Both girls and boys varsity teams for Bellefonte added wins to their season record. The girls move to 7-1 and the boys move to 8-0. Both are in the hunt for the Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Section 3 Championship.

The girls had a clean sweep taking the first five finishing positions. Addison Fry and Natalie Jolley ran together and finished right beside one another at the line. Emma Burger took 3rd, followed by Anna Tyson in 4th. Senior Alexis Fravel placed 5th and Ruthann Smoyer placed 9th.  It was really nice to see the girls all have smiles during and after the race. A Lot of positives after today.

The boys ran a good race with Kaiden Williams winning the race followed by Maverick Muchmore 2nd and Jonathan Gasper 3rd. Elijah Davis was 5th and Kaiden Musser finished 13th. The boys continue to show strength in their running and everyone is looking forward to competing this Saturday at the Ridgway Invitational.

Aliisa Kyte-Yech was second in the girls race with Emily Moretz placing 3rd. Emma Crater was 5th, Haddie Lutz 6th, Megan Showers 7th and Molly Showers 8th.

Overall for the entire program today showed another very positive day.
