Chalk up another No-No!
Juniata hurler Liz Gaisior took to the mound and once again added to her magical pitching career as she posted yet another no-hitter Thursday night against St.Joseph’s Academy, winning 16-0 in four innings.
The Junior struck out 10-more batters pushing her to within striking distance of upwards of 650 for her career.
With the win, the Indians improve to a stellar 14-1 while St. Joseph’s Catholic falls to 0-13.
Gaisior got tons of help from her offense as the Juniata hitters exploded.
Not only did Gaisior throw a 10K no-hitter but she also went 2-for-3 from the plate with a run and 4 RBIs. Regan Lowrey had 3 hits and 3 stolen bases, Sophie Smith crushed an RBI triple, and Cheyenne Kirk, Mackenzie Lyter, and Savannah Marshall each added a hit for Juniata.
The Indians are back in action a Monday as it hosts Newport on Senior Day.
