Monday night, the Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team went up against Mountain League foe Hollidaysburg. The competition was tough and in the end, the Eagles fell short 2-1.
“We let this one slip away. We controlled the ball and were able to get one early on them,” said Bald Eagle Coach Jared Moore. “But we took our foot off the pedal and it cost us.”
BEA’s Adrienne Hacker tallied the lone unassisted goal, posting it at the 8:48 mark.
Bald Eagle led in corners by a 6-2 margin while Hollidaysburg took the advantage in shots on goal 10-6.
In the Saves department Bald Eagle’s Angie Grieb had 8 saves while Hollidaysburg’s Erin McGinnis had 5.
