The Bellefonte Cross Country team got its season off and running Saturday as they opened its season at the Big Valley Invitational.

The Red Raiders boys team finished 4th out of 20 schools and 2nd out of 7 AA schools.

Within the Top 25 out of AA schools, the Bellefonte boys placed:

4th – Chase Ebeling

7th – Alexander Crist

9th – Alexander Mansfield

14th – Kaiden Williams

18th – Caleb Vinnedge

19th – Grady Garrison

On the Girls’ side, Bellefonte finished 12th out of 17 teams:  3rd out of 4 AA schools.

Within the Top 25 out of AA schools, Bellefonte girls placed:

9th – Ashleigh Aukerman

13th – Kate Rarrick

15th – Natalie Jolley

16th – Alyssa Hopkins

25th – Alexis Fravel

In total, the Red Raiders had eight medal winners (left to right in the picture):  Natalie Jolley, Haley Herr, Kate Rarrick, Ashleigh Aukerman, Alex Crist, Kaiden Williams, Chase Ebeling, and Alex Mansfield.  

Bellefonte’s next race is at home meet at Governor’s Park at 4:00PM on September 13th.
