LEWISTOWN – The MIfflin County track team battled wet weather, cold and a very tough Cumberland Valley team.
In boys competition, the Huskies fell 99-51 while the girls fell 128-18.
Kylee Cubbison paced all Husky athletes with two first place finishes.
In the 1600-meter run she took first with a time of 5:09.76. She also topped out in the 800-meter with a time of 2:22.47.
Rounding out the first place winners on the girls side was Lily Yoder in the long jump with a distance of 16’3”.
On the boys’ side, Josiah Sechler also notched two first place finishes. Sechler continues to dominate the competition in the javelin. Thursday he threw a first place best of 166’0.25”.
He also took the 100-meter run with a time of 11.32.
Jayden King took care of the top honors in the long jump with a leap of 20’9”.
Also in field events, Caden Kauffman took the high jump with a height of 5’10”.
Rounding out the first place winners on the night was Dillon Wert in the triple jump with a launch of 41’ 6.25”.
