MOMS ARE LOSING 2 WORKDAYS A WEEK DUE TO STRESS & CAREGIVING by Erik Lane | Sep 28, 2020 | DJ Blogs, Erik | 0 comments The pandemic is taking its toll on working moms, who are reportedly losing an average of 17 hours per week due to stresses associated with caregiving demands. Nearly 11 of those hours are devoted to childcare itself, where approximately 6 hours are spent handling stress and anxiety. 749 working parents were polled, confirming that mothers are feeling the effects more than dads, who lose an average of 6.5 hours a week. If you add up the total lost hours collectively, that’s 720 million hours lost – equivalent to around $76 billion.
