Nothing tastes better on a warm summer day than an ice cold beer, especially when that brew helps local Military Families. This Memorial Day weekend, 20 craft breweries owned and operated by veterans from across PA are producing a ber in honour of their fellow servicemen and women.

The beer this year is called Adapt and Overcome: Danger Zone Pale Ale and it’s being released on Memorial Day weekend at participating breweries. The beer is being brewed at Chatty Monks Brewery in Reading PA as well as Stone Bridge Brewing in Johnstown.

Proceeds from this delicious nectar will go to the Keystone Military Families Organization; an organization that provides support for deployed troops and their loved ones. If you want to grab a pint, or a crowler be sure to head over to one of these breweries at the end of May:

Cellar Works in Sarver, Deer Creek Malthouse in Glenn Mills, Downriver Brewing in Stroudsburg, Eclipse Craft Brewing in Sunbury, GEMS Farms Hops in Carlisle, McCallister Brewing in North Wales, Ten7 Brewing in North Wales, Root Down Brewing in Phoenixville, Stony Run Brew House in York, and Stone Ridge Brewing in Johnstown.
