Google revealed in a recent blog post that a new beta feature will allow Street Map app users to submit their own photos, straight from their phones, of places that are not adequately represented by the app. To do this, though, you’ll need an Android phone that’s compatible with Google’s ARCore—this applies to just about any mainstream Android phone from the past few years. For now, you will not be able to do this via iPhone. Also, the beta feature is only available in a few places for now, including Toronto, New York City, Indonesia, Costa Rica and Nigeria, though Google says it’s coming to more regions soon. I don’t know about you, but I can see this opening a whole new set of problems.
