Bono, Halsey, and Pharrell Williams have been cast as singing animals in the upcoming movie, Sing 2. It will be the sequel to 2016’s animated film that featured Reese Witherspoon and Matthew McConaughey as animals who were trying to get into a singing competition.

This time, the animals are trying to get a gig in a place called the Crystal Theater. Bono, whose most recent roles were in the cast of The Beatles musical Across The Universe and in a couple of episodes of Entourage, will play “the world’s most reclusive rock legend, lion Clay Calloway,” who has disappeared from the public eye after his wife’s death.

Halsey will appear as a teenager who’s “as entitled as she is talented,” while Pharrell will play “a kind elephant who owns an ice-cream-truck.

Sing 2 will be released next December.

Bobby Cannavale, Letitia Wright, Eric Andre, and Chelsea Perretti will also join the cast.
Other cast members include: Usher and Scarlett Johansson.
